The house is set in a plot of two thirds of an acre, consisting of the house, lots of outbuildings, an orchard and a couple of areas of garden. There are no formal lawns as such, but there is always plenty in flower at whatever time of year you visit, and plenty of space to explore, play in or relax. There is a bbq and table and chairs for 8.
The bread oven is where the bread would have been baked in years gone past, now it’s just one a number of outbuildings surrounding the property. The barn, at the end of the main building is a favourite children’s play space.
